We believe that the Bible is the only infallible word of God which was written by inspiration of the Holy Spirit according to 2 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Peter 1:21. We believe that God is the creator of all things (Gen. 1:1 and Colossians 1:16), that Jesus proceeded from the Father according to John 8:42 and that He alone has paid the price for the salvation of mankind (Acts 4:12). The Holy Spirit is God's Gift to all who will receive Him in order to be empowered by His indwelling, to live a consecrated and Spirit-led life while on the earth according to Acts 1:8, Acts 2:38,39.
Led By Jesus Ministries (LBJ ministries) was established at the leading of the Lord through His visionary, Leslie Bishop-Joe. We are not a church; however, the role of the ministry is to be an arm of support to established churches and fellowships by empowering women in various roles of ministry to function within their God-given anointing with wisdom, confidence, clarity of purpose, and a Kingdom focus.
LBJ Ministries is host to various gatherings which serve as opportunities for women of different Christian denominations to come together for times of fellowship, sharing, and enrichment. These functions or gatherings are designed to help women in ministry to keep a well-rounded pulse on ministry outside of their regular places of worship thus affording them times of refreshing and renewed purpose as they return to the places of worship where they have been called to serve and to minister. We believe that one of the best supports for any woman in ministry is other women in ministry who share like passions and challenges.
LBJ Ministries has a vision to hold up the arms of Pastors and ministry leaders by helping those women in ministry who are attached to their part of the vineyard, to remain focused and dedicated to the work of advancing the Kingdom of God with God's agenda while keenly discerning the distractions of man made systems.
Our mission is to strengthen families, churches, and communities at large by starting with the vital role of the woman that God has called to be a voice and force in the earth for such a time as this. We believe that these areas (family, church, communities) are strengthened as women are encouraged to pray with intention, to hear the voice of God, to remain Kingdom minded in the home, as well as, the church and to have a determination to obey the Lord at all costs.
